On Campus
With a guest membership, you can enjoy the many amenities of the University’s $15 Million dollar Goergen Athletic Center. The newly renovated athletic center houses a pool, several gymnasiums, tennis courts, raquetball and squash courts, indoor and outdoor tracks, a state-of-the-art weight and fitness room, and a basketball/ volleyball palestra.
Off Campus
The University locale offers 26 miles of jogging and biking trails and all the river you are able to row. Across the street from campus is the 800-acre Genesee Valley Park, with three golf courses. The University is close to an abundance of Rochester entertainment, including the University’s own Memorial Art Gallery, the George Eastman House, the historic Brown’s Race District, famed Erie Canal, Geva Theatre, and professional athletic teams. Our location also provides easy access to the New York State Finger Lakes and their wineries. If you have never seen the beautiful Niagara Falls, we can coordinate a day tour for your group that includes stops at outlet malls and popular dining establishments along the way. We want to ensure that your stay at the University of Rochester is enjoyable, and also hassle-free.
